Maternity leave (disability leave) for a period of time before and after delivery is at full salary. The leave period is determined by the faculty member's physician, who certifies the number of weeks that they are disabled, both before and after delivery. Partial salary offset is provided by short-term disability insurance for which the faculty member is expected to apply. For additional information, contact the Benefits Office.
