Finally, Stanford University Medical Center will ensure that all of its graduate medical education programs meet or exceed the Institutional and Program Requirements promulgated by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

Stanford University Medical Center currently sponsors over 111 residency/fellowship programs approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education with over 1300 enrolled interns, residents, and fellows.

    Orientation is held at Li Ka Shing Center (LKSC), 291 Campus Drive, Palo Alto, CA 94305.

    • If you are currently a Stanford Housestaff and will continue to be a Stanford Housestaff next academic year, you do NOT need to attend this orientation. This orientation is for housestaff new to Stanford.
    • Breakfast is provided at orientation.
