Pediatric Peer Scholarship Communities
Our vision is to contribute to the health and wellbeing of children by fostering scholarship, supporting career development, and building community among our pediatric faculty. The program consists of peer scholarship communities of ~ 8-10 faculty from across the department in specific interest areas (Advocacy/ Community Engagement, Clinical Research, Medical Education, Global Health, and Quality Improvement), facilitated by experienced Senior Scholarly Mentors. The program was initially conceived of to support clinician educators who make up the majority of our participants. However, at this point, we welcome all faculty, including those at affiliated sites, to apply if we can help to meet a particular need.
Program Components:
- Monthly community meetings facilitated by Senior Scholarly Mentors where participants share works-in-progress, provide peer mentorship, and discuss relevant related topics, **times and locations subject to change
- Advocacy/ Community Engagement: 3rd Friday of the month, noon to 1p, virtual
- Clinical Research: 4th Wednesday of the month, noon to 1p, hybrid (in person at CAM or virtual)
