Head & Neck Patient & Caregiver Education Symposium
6th Annual Head & Neck Cancer Patient & Caregiver Symposium
April 22, 2023, 8:00am-4:00pm PDT, in-person & virtual
Please join us for the Sixth Annual Stanford Head and Neck Cancer Patient and Caregiver Education Symposium. Our program will include information about innovative updates in the treatment of head and neck cancer, suggestions for dealing with the physical and emotional consequences of cancer and its treatment, and the opportunity to connect with others who have had or support someone who has had head and neck cancer. Highlights include a talk on how patients and healthcare providers can work together to improve the patient care experience by Dr. Justin Roe of the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, a talk on lymphedema by world renowned lymphedema expert Dr. Stanley Rockson, and insight into the new HPV DNA testing methods presented by Dr. Chris Holsinger. We hope you and your loved ones will join us for this very special day.
Caregiver Awards and Breakout Tables
Once you are done registering, please be sure to select the option to answer our additional questions and let us know who you'd like to nominate for the 2023 Caregiver Awards and which breakout table you'd like to participate in! Because of space limitations, we are not able to do breakout rooms this year so we have chosen to have breakout tables instead. Attendees will gather around these tables and chat with one another about a specific topic. Participants will be assigned to tables based on the topic that they express interest in.
The deadline for Caregiver Award nominations is Friday, March 24th!
