Stanford OHNS had an inspiring and unforgettable experience at AAO-HNSF & OTO EXPO 2025. From cutting-edge presentations and thought-provoking panels to reconnecting with mentors, alumni, and colleagues, this conference was a reminder of how far we’ve come—and how far there is yet to go in advancing otolaryngology. Research
Symposium
Our annual research retreat is held each fall. In this day-long event, the entire department (basic science and clinical) "stands down" from routine activity to attend presentations about the progress in research programs across the department and participate in discussions on research topics. The core goal of this retreat is to catalyze formation of new ideas and to engender a collaborative spirit.
Residency
Symposium
Every June, we host a resident research forum in which each resident (PGY2-5) gives a research presentation on a current or planned research project. Prizes are awarded for the best presentation.
