Summer 2023 Newsletter

Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery

Greetings from Chair

Dear Colleagues,

The beginning of summer is always a bitter-sweet time here at the Farm. As we send another generation of residents and fellows into the awaiting world, we realize that we are going to miss them the very next week. We are then reminded of the words of J.A. Shedd from almost a century ago, “A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.” And our alumni and alumnae are singular vessels– professional, superbly trained, and above all, ready and eager to care for their patients, lead their communities, and nurture their families. I hope you will enjoy learning about our recent graduates, their new destinations, and their impressive accomplishments below.

The summer is also a time for renewal so I wish you and your families a revitalizing summer!

This newsletter intends to reach all friends of the OHNS community and Stanford alumni/alumnae to share the latest developments.  If you have updates, please contact ohnspublicrelations@stanford.edu.

With best wishes,
Tina
