This website is intended to be a place where all your questions about resources and opportunities for Stanford School of Medicine’s Senior and Retired Faculty can be easily found.  For retired faculty, this page is organized to highlight resources related to academic, volunteer, service, and recreational opportunities and performing and visual arts at Stanford for our retired faculty.  In addition, we highlight key Stanford resources for our retired faculty and frequently asked questions related to eligibility.

The Academy for Retired Faculty Coming in Fall 2023!

Stanford School of Medicine (SoM) and the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) are excited to announce the launch of The Academy for Retired Faculty this fall.  To promote continuity and innovation, we would like to actively engage our retired faculty in ways that support their ongoing professional fulfillment and that benefit our trainees, patients, and institution. We regard senior faculty and retired faculty as critical partners in building this Academy.

Please return to this website to check from time to time as we will post new opportunities as they arise.
