The program’s world-class Stanford faculty are joined by experts and influencers in leadership development in academic medicine to create a unique learning experience. Participants will benefit from an evidence-based framework for personal growth, learn key management and leadership skills, cultivate a deep connection with peers across institutions, and receive significant professional coaching that altogether provide a holistic foundation to understand, practice and cultivate effective interpersonal, management, and leadership capabilities.
Who should attend: This program is designed for physicians who are early to mid-career. This program will be helpful for new section chiefs, department chairs in hospitals, physicians in private practice taking on more oversight and leadership, and younger physicians aspiring toward healthcare leadership positions.
Program Length: February to July
- A cohort-wide Saturday meeting (2 hours, once per month)
- 4 small group coaching sessions (1.5 hours each)
- 3 individual 1:1 sessions with a professional coach
- Up to 5 hours of asynchronous modules per month
