The following information only applies to non-ACGME-accredited fellowships.
Stanford advanced clinical trainees and postdoctoral scholars are considered trainees in residence at Stanford University pursuing advanced studies beyond the doctoral level in preparation for an independent career. In the Anesthesia Department, this can be either a research fellowship or a non-accredited clinical fellowship. Your status is considered non-matriculated, non-degree seeking students with the University.
The SoM's Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) home page provides general information about postdoctoral scholars. It is recommended that all incoming SoM-appointed fellows review this site.
