The Innovation Policy Fellowship is designed to prepare aspiring policy leaders to regulate the technology-driven transformation of the health sector by educating them on the innovation process. The goal of the Fellowship is to provide a well-balanced perspective on how health policy can help or hinder the availability of safe, efficacious life-changing technologies and train policy-makers to make data-driven decisions that help realize the full potential of technology innovation in the health sector.
Program Length: The Fellowship is a unique two-year program that is specifically centered on health technology innovation. During the initial year at Stanford University, Fellows will conduct health policy research coupled with hands-on exposure to the health technology innovation process. The second year, located in Washington DC or another policy hub, they will learn the policy-making process and create bridges between policy makers and health technology innovators.
Nomination Required/Enrollment: BFF program requires financial support $9,000 to cover the costs of offering and administering the program.
The Stanford Green Anesthesia Committee works as a multidisciplinary team to implement simple changes within the department that are both cost-saving and waste-reducing.
