The Innovation Policy Fellowship is designed to prepare aspiring policy leaders to regulate the technology-driven transformation of the health sector by educating them on the innovation process. The goal of the Fellowship is to provide a well-balanced perspective on how health policy can help or hinder the availability of safe, efficacious life-changing technologies and train policy-makers to make data-driven decisions that help realize the full potential of technology innovation in the health sector.

During the initial year at Stanford University, Fellows will conduct health policy research coupled with hands-on exposure to the health technology innovation process. The second year, located in Washington DC or another policy hub, they will learn the policy-making process and create bridges between policy makers and health technology innovators.
