System Availability and Downtime

Systems will be available 24x7 except for regularly scheduled maintenance downtime. The standard downtime maintenance schedule is 3am to 6am on Wednesdays; other windows will be negotiated with each client and will occur between 7am and 7pm. Clients will be given at least three (3) business days notice of any scheduled downtime. There are also maintenance windows scheduled by the University for network and firewall changes.

TDS staff services will be available during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, unless otherwise specified. For after-hours help, call the Service Desk at (650) 725-8000. Severity Level 1 outages will be responded to 24x7 for critical business systems.
