Share, Send & Store

Overview

Often we need to share information with colleagues at Stanford and elsewhere. To ensure files are transmitted securely, Stanford provides you with a way to send secure email (for text or small files), and a way to share large files of sensitive information.

(If you've been using a cloud-based service like Gmail, GoogleDocs or DropBox to send files, please see our page on Cloud Computing for tips on what services are secure and approved, and what services aren't.)

Please note, while you can use the Stanford secure: email service described below to send an individual message that includes High Risk data, you may not automatically forward your @stanford.edu email to a non-Stanford account if you attest Yes in AMIE that you may access or receive High Risk data.
