Connections Fireside Chats: Career conversations featuring Preparation & Practice course Instructors and BioSci Connect mentors.

Employer Office Hours: Meet employers 1:1 and discuss job or internship openings and expectations for the interview process and new hires. Get guidance for the application and interview process or engage in purposeful networking with future employers.

Employer Pop-ups!: Meet employers visiting campus, make new connections, and learn about job and internship opportunities.

Handshake: Find jobs and internship opportunities!

Industry Insights: A 1-hour showcase of opportunities from employers representing various sectors and industries. Industry Insights provides opportunities for students and trainees to understand further advancements in scientific research, technologies, and professional opportunities. Attend one of these formal presentations introducing a company’s mission, values, and culture, and a spotlight on exciting advances or innovation is followed by a facilitated question and answer session and a reception.

Industry Onsites: Visit a company with us for a site visit and tour to meet team members from various roles and learn about innovative technologies, work culture, career opportunities, and the latest laboratory and scientific research updates.

Professional Networking Hours: attend a networking social hosted on or off-campus and connect with prospective employers.

Open House: a symposia-style event that invites meaningful career exploration topics beyond recruitment and hiring. Open House features panel breakouts covering company focus areas, divisions, and specific work culture topics such as diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging discussions.
