hosted by Stanford Cancer Institute
Monday March 6, 2023
5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. PT
Join by Zoom or Telephone
Join Ana Reyes (cancer survivor, health advocate), Dr. Beverly S. Mitchell (oncologist, scientist), and Dr. Nichole Tyson (physician, pediatric adolescent gynecology) to learn and discuss about the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine. After decades of research and clinical trials, the HPV vaccine was approved starting in 2006. Our health experts will explain the science background and health benefits of this vaccine, especially when children are vaccinated at age 11 or 12 years old. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides guidelines for vaccination.
Please register online to receive the Zoom meeting and telephone information for this event. You may submit your questions or topics in advance. Download event flyer (PDF).
