FAQ

When will I hear back about my application?
Admissions are rolling, with final decisions made no later than April 20, 2024. Please submit applications early. 

Where and what time of day will programming be held?
On campus at Stanford University, School of Medicine in Palo Alto, CA. Sessions during the 2 week intensive will be held between 10 am to 3 pm PST. 

Can I do some portion of the program? Is there a minimum attendance policy?
There is no minimum attendance policy.

Do you offer scholarships?
We have a limited number of need-based scholarships available.

To apply for a scholarship, please fill our the "Scholarship Application Form" on Slideroom. Applicants should qualify for Federal Work Study and/or other tuition assistance programs or need-based scholarships, such as a free and reduced lunch program.

My primary language isn't English. What other languages are supported?/ Can my final project be in a language other than English?
Currently this is an English-based program. In the future we may be able to offer teaching and project support or review in other languages.

Can rising 9th graders join? Yes

Can I borrow equipment from Stanford University?

No. We will provide a required materials list before the course starts.
