Join us for this interactive discussion series hosted by the Stanford School of Medicine’s Medical Humanities and the Arts Program, and Director of Writing and Storytelling, Dr. Laurel Braitman, New York Times bestselling author. Learn practical tips and techniques for improving your work and sharing it with broad public audiences–whether you’re interested in fiction, narrative nonfiction, investigative journalism, poetry, radio/podcasts, or other forms of storytelling about health, medicine, and beyond. You’ll have the opportunity to submit questions before and during the conversations, as well as to write in response to prompts inspired by our guest author’s work and insights. Sessions will be recorded for those unable to attend in real time.

Fall Series with Elyce Melmon

A series of five workshops will be offered by Elyce Melmon, retired teacher, published poet and produced playwright. By registering you agree to attend a minimum of three sessions that will be held in the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics conference room from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Snacks provided.
