10th Anniversary Conference: Breast Cancer and African Americans (BCAA)

August 28, 2021

This uniquely designed community educational event is committed to raising awareness about breast cancer in Black/African American communities within the Greater SF Bay Area in an effort to reduce health disparities among our most vulnerable and medically underserved populations.  Event topics may include, but are not limited to, breast self-awareness; breast cancer risk; early detection; treatment options; nutritional health; physical activity; clinical trials research; stress reduction/management; survivorship; and advocacy. Please note that due to ongoing public health precautions regarding large in-person gatherings, this year’s event will be held virtually.
