OFDD supports the next generation of leaders in the biomedical workforce with intensive exposure to leadership training. Selection for these programs occurs via a nomination process.
Through an internal leadership program, the Stanford Leadership Development Program, participants gain grounding in leadership tools and practices, while forming connections with other leaders from around Stanford Medicine.
OFDD also offers support for faculty members to attend selected External Leadership Programs. These external programs provide an opportunity to meet leaders from medical schools around the country while furthering faculty leadership capabilities back at Stanford.
