1. Stanford PEDSnet Intake Form
Investigator submits Stanford PEDSnet Study Request form.
2. Consultation with Stanford PEDSnet Team
Stanford PEDSnet sends notification to requestor, acknowledging receipt
Stanford PEDSnet assesses request form for completeness
Stanford PEDSnet schedules 30-minute administrative call with investigator
3. Proposal Review
Stanford PEDSnet team determines this is an appropriate proposal for PEDSnet (reviews request for network fit).
4. PEDSnet Collaboration Form
Stanford Investigator fills out DRAFT PEDSnet Collaboration Request Form and emails back to Stanford PEDSnet team: jwhalen@stanford.edu.
Stanford PEDSnet team reviews and approves.
5. Presentation to PEDSnet Research Committee
Stanford Investigator gives 5 minute pitch to PEDSnet RC (research overview, aims, anticipated involvement of sites, funding).
6. PEDSnet Site Concept Approval Vote
PEDSnet sites vote to approve study concept via a Study Concept Vote (usually takes about 1 week for feedback).
7. PEDSnet Site Participation Vote
PEDSnet sites vote to participate in project (ie: give approval to use site data & potentially invite collaborators from institution to join the project).
