Secrets to Brain Vitality
Women have a greater risk of developing dementia during their lifetimes than men. One obvious reason—we live longer. But that doesn’t tell the whole story as there is so much in our control—clean diet, exercise, social connection, and more—to help prevent and delay cognitive decline. Join brain health and memory disorders expert Dr. Sharon Sha for a mind-opening talk about what you can do now to help preserve your brain function well into your later years. Learn how to live like your brain depends on it.

Stanford Parkinson's Group in Spanish
The Stanford APDA Information and Referral Center and Stanford Parkinson's Community Outreach will launch a Parkinson's disease (PD) support group for the Spanish-speaking community in August 2023. These virtual meetings are open to anyone in the North and Central California, not just Stanford families. This group is available to people with Parkinson's disease and their families.
The facilitator is Carla Abdelnour, MD, PhD, Stanford Neurology. The first 15 minutes of each meeting will include Dr. Abdelnour sharing information about a PD symptom.
We meet virtually on the third Wednesday of each month from 5:30pm to 6:30pm (Pacific Time). RSVP is not required.
Contact for meeting details and to be added to the meeting reminder email list: Carla Abdelnour, MD, PhD, Stanford Neurology.
Additional contact for information about the group: Robin Riddle (does not speak Spanish)
