Create a Clerkship
New clerkship proposals should first be submitted to the SoM Registrar’s Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) for review by the Assistant Registrar, Courses and the Associate Director of Clerkship Administration. Then it will be forwarded to the Assistant Dean for Clerkship Education who will bring the proposal to the Required Clerkship Directors group for review. The proposal will be presented to the Committee on Curriculum and Academic Policy (CCAP) in the School of Medicine Faculty Senate for final approval. The approval process may take as long as 8 weeks.

To propose a new required or elective clerkship, only complete and submit the New Clerkship Proposal Form:
