Description

Stanford Muslim Medical Association strives to foster a spiritually nurturing, tolerant, and inclusive Muslim community at the Stanford School of Medicine and affiliated hospitals. SMMA further seeks to engage with the broader Stanford community and critically examine all issues around the practice of medicine as it pertains to the Muslim identity, culture, history, peoples, societies, politics, and the intersections therein. The SMMA strives to maintain regular service activities, active mentorship programs, and educational programming.
