The Arab Leadership and Advocacy in Medicine organization was created to be an inclusive space for Arab-identifying medical students and health professionals at Stanford. We are dedicated to promoting the health and wellbeing of the Arab community through mentorship, leadership, and advocacy. The Arab Leadership and Advocacy in Medicine organization connects Arab students and faculty, organizes community health outreach and service events, raises awareness about important issues surrounding medical representation, and hosts panels on the health needs of Arab communities across the globe. Alongside those passionate about addressing the health challenges facing Arab communities, we hope to foster a collective space for personal and professional growth.
