Documents Needed to Apply
- ERAS Common Application Form
- Letters of recommendation (minimum of 3)
- Personal statement
- Medical school transcripts
- Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)/Medical School Dean’s Letter
- Licensing exam transcript
- United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) and/or Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Exam (COMLEX) transcripts
- Valid ECFMG certificate and status report
- Other documents that may strengthen your application: awards, research, and scholarly work
Interviews
- September 4, 2024: ERAS opens for applicants to submit their applications.
- September 25, 2024: ERAS opens for programs, and we will start our review of all applications submitted.
- October 11, 2024: Application reviews will be done.
- Applicants selected for interviews will be notified through ERAS by October 11 or earlier.
- Applicants selected for interviews will be invited to schedule.
- Interviews are on Thursdays starting October 17, 2024.
- 5 applicants will be interviewed in the morning and 5 applicants in the afternoon.
- Group discussion in a town hall format will be held at noon for all of the applicants and interviewers.

- There will be a virtual second look on January 29, 2024, in the afternoon. This will be a town hall format with breakouts. Program updates and a Q&A session will be shared.
- We are a new program and recruiting our first class of PGY1 residents. This year we are not having an in person second look.
- February 3, 2025: The Match opens
- March 21, 2025: Match Day
Appointments
Applicants who successfully match with our program must provide the following documentation prior to the start of the program:
- Official medical school transcript with degree issued and date of issuance
- Copy of medical school diploma
- Copy of social security card
- Copy of current driver’s license
- Copy of permanent resident card, if applicable
- Documentation of application for Postgraduate Training License as required by the Medical Board of California
If required documentation is in different names, then proof of name change (i.e. marriage certificate or court document) must be provided.
If any required documents are in a language other than English, then an English translation of the documents must be provided.
