Minas presents at CVI Research Symposium
The 2023 Stanford Cardiovascular Institute Research Symposium was held from November 30 to December 1, 2023 at the Li Ka Shing Center at Stanford. The symposium brought together researchers from the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute (CVI), UPenn CVI, Duke Cardiovascular Research Center, and Weill Cornell CVRI. Gary Gibbons, MD, Director of the National Heart, Lung, Blood Institute at the National Institutes of Health was the Keynote speaker, presenting the Victor J. Dzau, MD, Distinguished Lecture in Cardiovascular Medicine. Dozens of other researchers from all four institutes also presented their research.
The symposium featured a poster session, where Minas Nalbandian, PhD, presented his work "Inhibition of the 15-PGDH Gerozyme Ameliorates Cardiac Disease".
