The facility is named in honor of Ralph Falk and Marian C. Falk, recognizing their contributions to advancing biomedical research.
Today, the Falk CVRC houses multidisciplinary research programs spanning cardiac biology, translational science, and surgical innovation. It supports close collaboration among faculty, trainees, and investigators, with modernized laboratory environments integrated into Stanford’s broader cardiovascular research ecosystem, including the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute.
