Morbidity and Mortality Conference Residents, fellows, clinical instructors, and faculty members actively participate in monthly Morbidity and Mortality Conferences to review and discuss submitted clinical case presentations. The case presentations provide an opportunity to analyze the causes of complications, discuss preventive measures for future cases (such as emphasizing the importance of increasing medical knowledge, addressing system-based issues, improving team communication, etc), and support discussions with scholarly references.
