Description

The Stanford Health Justice Coalition is committed to the protection of our patients’ rights and access to healthcare. We affirm the right of all patients to access vital healthcare resources regardless of race, gender identity, socioeconomic status, faith, and sexual orientation. We seek to advocate for our future patients, raise awareness of disparities in healthcare, and build a community of future health professionals dedicated to supporting the right to accesshealthcare. The SHJC will serve as an umbrella organization covering initiatives that become relevant in the years to come, to provide support for advocacy and engagement with issues of access to healthcare and justice more broadly.
