Anesthesiology Mentorship Program (AMP)

- Details: The Stanford Anesthesiology Mentorship Program (AMP) is a structured mentorship program designed to support early career faculty. We aspire to equip our mentees with the skills and community support needed to achieve their career goals at Stanford. Stanford AMP harnesses the power of mentors, networks, information and conversation to promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. The program goes beyond just pairing each early career physician with a mentor.
Workshops are offered throughout the year on hot topics for early career faculty which include, but are not limited to: negotiation, research for CE faculty, publication, and education theory. Both mentors and mentees are supported in peer mentoring groups throughout the year to develop a strong sense of community and support all faculty members at every level of practice. - Open to: All faculty, with focus on early career and underrepresented minorities
