Realizing Improvement through Team Empowerment (RITE)
RITE is a training program focused on supporting the efforts of frontline teams to complete improvement projects. It is geared towards maximizing the likelihood of project success, efficient use of time and resources, and education of participants in a positive supportive environment. Focused on clinical quality improvement. Open to Stanford Medicine faculty of all ranks and lines.
Specialist Course in Improvement Science (SCIS)
The Stanford Medicine Specialist Course in Improvement Science is a fully virtual, healthcare-focused, professional certification to bring improvement practitioners to the industry standard in improvement science.
Advanced Course in Improvement Science (ACIS)
The Stanford Medicine Center for Improvement (SMCI) Advanced Course in Improvement Science (ACIS) is a 20-day course for those who have a strong improvement background and whose work focuses on improvement or who use advanced improvement tools and techniques in their work on a regular basis. Open to Stanford Medicine faculty of all ranks and lines.

Master of Science in Clinical Informatics Management (MCiM)
The Master of Science in Clinical Informatics Management (MCiM) is a unique degree program combining medicine, business, and technology. The only cross-disciplinary program of its kind on the West Coast, MCiM cultivates a supportive learning environment to develop leaders who seek to advance diversity, equity, and inclusiveness in health care– locally, regionally, and globally. The M-TRAM (Master’s Program in Translational Research and Applied Medicine) at Stanford trains students to bridge the gap between scientific discovery, clinical application, and business, equipping them with the skills to translate biomedical innovations into impactful patient therapies, diagnostics, and devices.
