Center for Teaching and Learning
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) advances the integration of evidence-based, innovative teaching and learning practices that promote effective learning and belonging for all students in Stanford undergraduate and graduate contexts. The Course Design Institute (CDI), Academic Technology Solutions Lab, and IDEAL Pedagogy program are prominent examples of core offerings for our Stanford faculty. Stanford Fellows
This program broadens faculty and senior staff members' understanding of the university and its mission. Open to Stanford Medicine faculty of all ranks and lines. Those nominated are limited to faculty in the Academic Council (professoriate).

This academy builds and expands on the leadership capabilities of the faculty, staff, and health care administrators who guide the university now and in the future. Open to Stanford Medicine faculty of all ranks and lines. Those nominated are limited to faculty in the Academic Council (professoriate).

Stanford University Faculty Development and Engagement
Faculty Development and Engagement (FDE), a unit in the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement, serves as a central resource for faculty at all stages of their career, from recruitment and onboarding through retirement as emeritus faculty. This unit's core programs and initiatives include search committee training and resources; New Faculty Orientation; workshops about the tenure and promotion process, and about advancement to full professorships; New Chairs Orientation, quarterly briefings, and leadership development; mentorship training; faculty writing retreats; support for faculty affinity groups; and support for the Emeriti/ae Council. These services are available to all University Tenure Line and University Medical Line faculty.

University IT / UIT - Technology Training
UIT Technology Training Program offers technology training to support the personal and professional development of the Stanford community including Stanford faculty, lecturers, and instructors. Topics include but are not limited to AI, data analytics, software applications, programming languages, Agile, Project Management, and quality improvement. UIT also offers instructional design/course development, online learning resources and individual/custom team training. Open to the entire Stanford community.
