GOLD

Brief Intervention to Reduce Anxiety and Promote Resilience in Families of Youth with Cancer

About

We aim to determine the feasibility and acceptability of a ZOOM-based brief psychological intervention (dubbed GOLD, for the color corresponding to childhood cancer awareness) for caregivers of youth with newly-diagnosed cancer.

We also aim to determine whether caregivers find the GOLD program to be acceptable with the hope that they will find it relevant, helpful, and easy to understand. Finally, we aim to determine whether the GOLD program impacts primary outcomes in the context of a modest pilot study.
