Fellowship Training Program

Application Process

Applicants to the program must have completed a pediatric residency program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).  We participate in the fellowship match sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) in coordination with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology subspecialty program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).  Applications for fellowship positions should be submitted through ERAS. Please try to have all application materials submitted within 30 days, ideally by mid-August.  Applications received through ERAS will be reviewed by the application review committee and those applicants selected for an interview will be sent an invitation to interview.  Interviews will most likely be held from August through October.

Applicants should apply electronically through ERAS and provide all the requested documents through ERAS.

  • Completed ERAS application
  • Three letters of reference including one from your residency program director
  • Medical school transcript including Dean's letter
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal statement

Please note that Stanford only accepts J-1 visas at this time. See GME website for more info.
