Our recruitment process will be held virtually. As online interviewing is quite different from an in-person visit, we hope the content on this page helps you learn about our program, the department of Pediatrics, Stanford University, and the San Francisco Bay Area as a whole.

How to Apply

We participate in the NRMP match, our program number is 1820765C0. Since we have both a combined and categorical program ensure you enter the correct program number when applying. Applications for training will be accepted via ERAS. Promising applicants will be invited for a completely virtual interview in November-December.

Completed ERAS Application form
MSPE ("Dean's Letter from your school)
Letters of Recommendation (3-4)
- Letter from one of these members of your institution's Department of Pediatrics: Chair, Clerkship Director, or Program Director
- Clinical Letter from Pediatrics
- Optional: Letter from significant extracurricular activity, research, etc.

Special Materials:

If you are currently in a residency training program, a letter is also required from the program director.
If you hold a PhD, please also include a letter from your PhD advisor.
