Scholarship Opportunities for COMET Fellows

The COMET Fellowship is privileged to partner with the Broida Foundation and Department of Gynecology to offer the following scholarships.

The Broida Foundation scholarship for the Ravenswood clinic will be sponsoring the full tuition for (1) one COMET Fellow for the Summer 2025-2026 Cohort. COMET has a partnership with a local Community Health Center (www.ravenswoodFHC.org) that provides care to a medically underserved population. If interested in being considered for this scholarship opportunity, please rank and discuss your interest in scribing at Ravenswood Family Health Center as a COMET fellow and how this experience might further your career aspirations.

The Department of Gynecology will be sponsoring the full tuition for (1) one COMET Fellow for the Summer 2025-2026 Cohort.  This Fellow will have the opportunity to work with two Gynecology faculty members, Dr. Lisa Chao and Dr. Deirdre Lum. The COMET Fellowship would like to recognize the following departments and/or clinics that are providing scholarship contributions which keeps the COMET Fellowship accessible for scribes to receive mentorship and medical experience for the upcoming 2025-2026 Fellowship Year:

  • Infectious Diseases
  • Cardiology
  • Radiation Oncology
  • Lung Transplant
  • Pathology/FNA Clinic
