Dr. Bekale presented his novel work discovering new therapeutics to eradicate persister cells in CSOM today at the Department's Research Meeting. His work is the first to show the ability to eradicate gram-negative bacteria in the growth arrest phase and is exciting as the first potential eradicative therapy for CSOM.
