Are you a leader in the continuing medical education field or are you looking for leadership development specific to CME to enable you to better serve your organization? Annual educational meetings primarily focus content on foundational concepts and topics for early to mid-career CME professionals. These conferences are often broad and overflowing with CME professionals of all levels and expertise; however, few sessions are valuable for managers, directors, and leaders of CME organizations.

Camp CME aims to bring together leaders and rising stars in CME to exercise strategic planning techniques, share experiences on executing vision, and discover strategies to lead teams in the ever-changing landscape of CME. We invite you to join us at the 3rd Annual Camp CME, a leadership retreat for CE/CPD professionals, for four days of skill building exercises to forge meaningful change in your CME organization and networking with fellow CME leaders who desire to grow purposeful careers in beautiful Zion!

The 3rd Annual Camp CME invites CE/CPD professionals to submit abstracts for our focused leadership retreat in Zion. This immersive event is designed for current and aspiring leaders who are passionate about driving meaningful change in the CME landscape. We are looking for dynamic sessions that inspire, educate, and engage fellow professionals over four transformative days.

ACCREDITATION

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

ABOUT STANFORD CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION

Stanford CME is a leader in the continuing medical education space. Though our target audience is clinicians, we also develop and deliver educational programs that support our continuing medical education peers. Most notably, Stanford CME led the efforts in offering training to CME professionals via multi-day online conferences and monthly webinar series beginning at the onset of the pandemic. These educational programs, CME Live and CME Live: Onward, catered to over 1700 attendees from 525 institutions across 42 states and 5 countries. We provided valuable training on online learning, hybrid learning, technology tools, and staff development and wellness through CME Live and CME Live: Onward. Camp CME is designed as an extension of these programs. Based on a needs analysis conducted among leaders in continuing medical education, we identified skills gaps related to leadership, strategic planning, process improvement, and general management of a CME organization. Our goal is to create a space for our peers where collaboration is encouraged, innovation is essential, and learning is constant. Let’s create a place where we can lead together at Camp CME.
