Sheila Wang

Sheila Wang, Advisory Board Chair

Dr. Sheila Wang is a business and education leader with over three decades of global experience.

Sheila built Hewlett-Packard’s international operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, and was in charge of HP’s global supply chain. She was instrumental in HP’s spin-off of Agilent Technologies and helmed a multi-billion-dollar global operation. Sheila’s professional achievements also include being a Professor of Leadership and Technopreneurship for the National University of Singapore and for the Stanford-NUS Executive Program in International Management. She was the Inaugural Academic Director of the flagship MBA Consulting Program, cultivating future leaders under direct practicums with C-suite leaders.

In addition to her professional experience, Sheila is a long-standing community leader. She is an Advisory Board Member of Gryphus Capital, Chair of the Stanford Admissions OVAL Singapore Chapter, and Committee Member of Menlo Charity Horse Show.

Her other board appointments include having served as a Board Director of the Stanford Alumni Association, President of the Stanford Singapore Chapter, Board Governor of the Singapore American School, Advisor to the Singapore Ministry of Education, Board Director of Shared Services for Charities, and Advisor to the President of the National Tsing Hua University. 

Sheila has a strong affinity towards Stanford – with herself and all her immediate family members being Stanford alumni. She is also passionate about tech, healthcare, and serving the community.
