ACR Breast MRI BI-RADS® Lexicon Has Now Been Translated Into 4 Languages

Director of Breast Imaging, Dr. Debra Ikeda, Vice Chaired the American College of Radiology (ACR) Breast MRI BI-RADS® Committee, resulting in the publication of the 2013 ACR Breast MRI BI-RADS® Lexicon Second Edition. It has now been translated into 4 languages other than English: Spanish, German, Portuguese, and Mandarin Chinese. A Japanese translation is complete but not yet published and a Greek translation is underway. Dr. Ikeda also Chaired the first Breast MRI BI-RADS® Committee which resulted in the first edition published in 2003.
The second edition of the MRI BIRADS is imbedded in the 5th edition of the entire BIRADS Atlas from 2013.
