2024 Optic Disc Drusen Hybrid Conference
In person: Stanford Research Park Conference Center, 3145 Porter Drive, Palo Alto, CA 94304
Virtual: via Zoom webinar. Please register to receive Zoom invitation
The Stanford Center for Optic Disc Drusen at the Byers Eye Institute will host our 5th annual international conference to share laboratory and clinical advances on optic disc drusen, an orphan disease that is associated with vision loss and optic nerve calcification. Our goal for this meeting was to seed collaborative opportunities, educate the public, and to strategize about how to rapidly advance the field.
In 2023, we focused on optic nerve and retinal ganglion cell biology and mitochondria, with many talks on translational vision research. In the afternoon, we hosted an in-person poster session.
This meeting was hybrid. The lectures and discussions will also be available virtually through Zoom. Some of the lectures will be available at a later date on our website.
