Alejandro was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I completed my MD/PhD training in the dual institution program between the University of Puerto Rico Medical School and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. My research interest include molecular biology, novel therapeutics, mechanisms of cancer therapy resistance and immunotherapy. My goal is a pursue a career as a translational researcher in the field of malignant hematology.
