Training Sites

Stanford Hospital

Stanford Hospital is located adjacent to the Cancer Center. It is a 621-bed facility located in the San Francisco Bay Area with an emphasis on advanced patient care. It provides tertiary care of rare and complex disorders for much of northern California and the West Coast, in addition to serving the region as a level one trauma center. The hosptal houses multiple Inpatient rotations, including Blood and Marrow Transplantation, Inpatient Hematology (Med 8), Hematology Consults, and Oncology Consults/Inpatient Oncology (Med 10).

Stanford Cancer Center

The Cancer Center serves as the home base for the fellowship, it is located within the Stanford Advanced Medicine Center at 875 Blake Wilbur Drive, with some additional clinics housed at 900 Blake Wilbur Drive Building. The fellows' room is located here, as well as didactics for both Hematology and Oncology. The Hematology and Oncology outpatient clinic rotations take place here. The Cancer Center houses the primary infusion center, with satellite sites in Redwood City and San Jose. 

Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Medical Center

The Palo Alto VA is located approximately 5 miles from Stanford Medical Center, shuttle service is available.  The VA has 235 medical-surgical beds and additional psychiatric beds. VA Hematology and Oncology provide busy inpatient consultation services as well as outpatient clinic rotations.
