Discover the transformative potential of Restorative Justice (RJ) at our Restorative Justice Tier 1 CME Training Retreat. Restorative Justice offers a path to prevent or respond to conflict/harm in a community while prioritizing a journey of healing, social support, and active accountability. Rooted in indigenous traditions, RJ can also prevent harm with Circles, which strengthen relationships and build community. Other RJ components respond to conflict by helping identify harms, needs, and solutions through an inclusive and collaborative decision-making process. Hosted and organized by Stanford’s Restorative Justice Hub’s Learning and Development Team, this immersive experience offers insightful presentations and expert-led small group workshops facilitated by experienced RJ practitioners, providing a hands-on opportunity to apply and refine your RJ skills. Whether you're new to RJ or a seasoned practitioner, this retreat will empower you to build stronger communities, repair harm, and foster empathy.

To get the most out of the training, it is recommended that participants have had training and/or reviewed the material on RJ History and Background, Community Agreements, and Tier 1 & Tier 0 to ensure an immersive learning experience. This prior knowledge will enable you to fully engage with the content and activities, making the most of your time at the retreat.
