Research Interests:

The main goal of my master's degree was to develop a chemical library of pentacyclic triterpenes, potential inhibitors of 11 Beta HSD 1 as a key enzyme in diabetes type 2. I am really interested in protein biochemistry, engineering, and evolution. In the Maduke Lab, I am learning about CLC family proteins, their structure, dynamics, and their role in the physiology of different systems.
