Postdoctoral Scholars

The Translation Research Group at Stanford University School of Medicine invites applications for a dynamic and highly motivated postdoctoral research scholar in the Radiation Oncology Department. The primary focus of the group is the development of AI and machine learning-based software designed to enhance clinical workflows and pre-clinical studies. Our recent software innovations have been successfully integrated into clinical settings and preclinical laboratories, with scientific achievements published in premier science and technical journals. The group is well funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and industry partners.

Candidates from a diverse background are encouraged to apply. The applicant may hold a PhD either in physical sciences/engineering with a strong interest in translational research and motivation to solve biomedical problems, or a PhD in biomedical sciences with a strong interest to apply AI and machine learning approaches. Required Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a physical science and engineering field
  • Strong programming background
  • Experience in computer vision projects
  • Experience in software or webapp development/API integration
  • Interest (but not necessarily expertise) in medicine and radiotherapy
