Christine is the glue that keeps the entire administrative staff together and is the department’s “go-to” person. She is competent, reliable, professional and always ready to assist, regardless of the task. Yet, in spite of her many talents, she is also humble, thoughtful, kind, and gracious. Christine is consistent, reliable and always professional. She is warm, engaging and has an understated sense of humor. She is incredibly creative, and lends her personal touch and artistic talents to our weekly newsletter. She is also a talented planner and has skillfully organized all of the department’s celebrations, fellowship graduations, faculty retreats, and faculty meetings. Christine takes incredible pride in her work and is able to tackle any task — she consistently does more than what is asked of her, always going above and beyond.
Ana Mezynski
Research Administrator, Department of Surgery
Ana has embraced strategic and logistical roles as the Research Administrator for the Department of Surgery. She has demonstrated total dedication, including learning how to create a website, writing copy, and seeking advice for grant submission support, managing space and supporting students, post-docs, and faculty. She displays exquisite attention to detail and doesn't rest until each issue is addressed and completed. She is always seeking to improve her skills and consistently is proactive in organizing our many moving parts. Somehow, she manages to do it all with superb professionalism and kindness!
