Infection Control:
We take infection control very seriously at the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic. We ask that you wear a mask in all common areas of the Chest Clinic and maintain at least a 6 feet distance from all other patrons. Our team members will be wearing isolation gowns, masks and gloves for the duration of your clinic visit. We ask that patients with certain bacterial infections to be scheduled in the last clinic appointments of the day to prevent any possible transmission to other CF patients. Of note, during the novel Coronavirus pandemic, Stanford Health Care may augment the visitor policy. We encourage you to clarify with Guest Services prior to your clinic visit.
If you are feeling sick:
Contact the RN coordinator if you are having symptoms and we can schedule you for a video visit, telephone visit, in-person clinic visit or Emergency Room visit as appropriate. Do NOT send a myhealth message if you are feeling sick as myhealth is for non-urgent matters only.
Clinic Adjustments During Covid-19 Pandemic: Throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic, your clinic visit may be transitioned from an in-person visit to a telehealth visit. Our staff will contact you either by phone or via MyHealth if your appointment type will need to be adjusted. Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience
