Our preeminent objectives are to be the representative voice of our members in all clinical departments that have ACF, to participate in advancing the educational and training missions of the School of Medicine, and to further contribute to the art and science of Medicine. The more than 800 community clinician educators of the Adjunct Clinical Faculty of Stanford University School of Medicine are members of the Association of the Adjunct Clinical Faculty (AACF).  As a group, we contribute in excess of 80,000 uncompensated hours to the educational and training missions of the School of Medicine and Stanford Hospital and Clinics.  The inspiration for our organization arose from our common bond as clinical educators, as well as deep respect for our patients, our profession, and Stanford School of Medicine’s tradition of excellence in medical education, clinical practice, and scholarly research.
