Vaccination in Santa Clara County

Click on the title. This shows Santa Clara County healthcare workers who are not eligible for vaccination at Stanford where to be vaccinated. ACF members who are credentialed members of the Stanford Hospital medical staff are eligible to be vaccinated at Stanford. Contact your Department if you are a medical staff member and have not received information about a vaccination appointment.

Vaccination in San Mateo County

Click on the blue heading above for comprehensive information about vaccination in San Mateo County. ACF who are credentialed members of the Stanford Hospital Medical staff are eligible for vaccination at Stanford. ACF members who are not also members of the medical staff can get vaccinated through their personal healthcare provider organization and/or programs in their county of residence.

ACF Service During COVID-19

Many of our ACF members have asked how COVID-19 limitations will affect the 100 hour yearly service requirement. Dean Linda Boxer does not anticipate this to be a problem. She has recommended that each department have latitude to determine and allow for the COVID-19 impact when ACF service hours are decreased due to COVID-19 limitations on in-person clinical care and teaching.

Santa Clara County Public Health Information about where to get vaccinated and the tiers that show when various groups will be eligible for vaccination. ACF who are credentialed members of the Stanford Hospital medical staff will be eligible to receive the vaccine at Stanford.

Medicine MedCast: New COVID-19 Miniseries

Hot topics in medicine, healthcare and education will be discussed with leading physicians and scientists. The new COVID-19 miniseries will feature conversations with experts that are ideal for the clinician on the go. These Medcasts are open to the entire School of Medicine community and some of them offer CME credit.

Vice Dean Linda Boxer, MD, PhD meets with AACF leadership

The AACF Executive Committee meets with Professor Boxer for updates and liaison with the School of Medicine on behalf of the medical school's ACF. These meetings areĀ  very positive and they focus on the essential role of the 800 members of the Adjunct Clinical Faculty who teach clinical skills and assist those completing their training to transition from academic training to community practice. The Executive Committee always looks forward to our planned quarterly meetings to further discuss issues of mutual interest.
