Diversity LABS: Leadership, Authenticity, Belonging in Science

LKSC 120

Diversity LABS are a Faculty Development & Diversity, BioSci Careers, and Genentech initiative to critically examine the most pressing academic, personal, and professional issues affecting marginalized and URM students and trainees today. LABS occur once a month, March-May, ending with a mentoring event at Genentech in June. Participants are welcome to attend as many sessions as they choose from one to all four, though priority for the June event will be given to those attending to the first 3 sessions.

The March LABS will be centered around belonging using reflective exercises and group discussions with Stanford staff and Genentech mentors to explore personal definitions of belonging and ideas for creating belonging in both academic and professional spaces.

Registration is required as space is limited.
